John is an excellent real estate agent. He knows home construction and remodeling, he knows dozens of listing agents, he knows the neighborhoods of DC/MD/VA and he knows negotiation tactics. He was incredibly patient with my wife and I, who searched for a house for nearly 8 months, going out to look at properties with us almost every week during that time. We looked at rowhouses in Petworth, condos in Georgetown and Tunlaw, and Cape Cods in Takoma Park and Silver Spring. Everywhere we went, in every house, John was able to answer all our questions and tell us what we should look for. We relied on him and trusted him and he always came through with the best advice and the right answers.

John's not only a great realtor. He's a professional. He never missed an appointment and was always on time (and very accommodating when we would run late!). He responded to our calls and emails - usually within minutes. He even dressed professionally, which made us feel good to have him when we saw other realtors at open houses wearing jeans and sneakers. (less)

I never thought of a real estate agent the way my wife and I think of John. What a pleasant and rewarding experience for both selling our home and buying our new home - making it a lot easier to get through the stress and difficulties often associated with this process. John is more that one could expect, some of the many positives (there were no negatives!):

1. Always on time, in fact always at the meeting place with everything ready and well prepared - and makes himself available for just about anything.
2. Easy to reach by email or telephone, any time of the day or week.
3. Has great knowledge of all contracting issues, mortgage/lending, advertising, house/landscaping repairs/upgrades and who to contact, interion design, etc.
4. Has great negotiating skills and is pleasant and respectful to everyone no matter
what the circumstances.
5. Bends over backwards to be fair in establishing his fee arrangement.
6. Doesn't PUSH to make a sale, always maintains an awareness of both his clients needs and trigger points and acts accordingly.
7. Is always a gentleman and a professional.
8. The entire experience becomes one of a friendship; it's a relationship that is comforting when making such an important decision.
